Meryle

Meryle was an esteemed university professor with a long, impressive list of accomplishments. As a full professor heading up a program she created herself, she was well-known and admired by colleagues at the university and throughout the community. Yet, instead of feeling buoyed by her success, Meryle felt desperate. She felt overburdened in her job, resentful about the seemingly useless, endless meetings she had to attend, and incredibly stressed. Her migraines became so severe, they would sometimes last for days. Although Meryle frequently did consulting work outside throughout her state, her entrepreneurial streak was being squelched, and along with it, her spirit.

Meryle hired Joelle to help her decide what to do with her life. Ten years away from retirement, she just couldn’t face another decade at the university. She needed to find a way of life that gave her freedom and used her talents in a way that brought her excitement, vitality, and a challenge. Within months of starting coaching, her path became clear.

Today, Meryle has left the university and owns a thriving consulting and speaking business that takes her all over the country. Her income far exceeds her former university salary.
